We decided to finally get around to fixing Chrome. Voided was able to find the issue and patched the module up for us.
Patch Info
The TV, theater, flash arcades, and radio have been fully fixed.
I also went through literally all our texture files one by one and tried to save on memory usage. Oh and I removed all the anime player models and re-textured the
party hat.
I think you'll find that loading into GMT will be much faster with this new patch.
Lifeless just recently patched his Virus hospital map with some fixes people have been wanting. It's also included on the new patch.
Make sure you use GMTUpdater/SVN on our
downloads page to update.
Updates On Us
I've been working on Verlocity, an AS3 game engine designed to be both powerful and easy to use. You can read more about it on my blog,
http://www.macdguy.org/.
Sunabouzu returned to help work on Phoenix, our new project that's similar to GMT. He's been working on getting things going again. He also just released a new map of his,
gm_apartment. It's a pretty awesome survival horror campaign.
Nican has been busy at work on Phoenix but also he's been busy doing work outside of the computers.
We also hired new developers for Phoenix: Jimonions and GameDev. Jimonions is an incredibly talented guy who's made some
very beautiful maps. GameDev just recently joined to help and he's been doing a great job so far. Some of his work can be found
on Facepunch.
Oh yeah, here's some screens of Zombie Massacre which is coming along really well:

And a small teaser of the
upcoming condo for Phoenix. Condos are exactly like the suites in GMT, only this time they're incredibly larger and offer a pool, bar, garden, dark media room, deck, fireplace, and
lots of space.
Again, sorry about the delay of an official patch. I submitted the patch yesterday and it was way too late for me to write out an article.
